This paper compares and analyzes the characteristics of ArcGIS and GeoWayin the process of Geographic National Census data production,it is concluded that using GeoWay in the early stage,and using ArcGIS in the later stage will exert their respective advantages,reduce the workload and improve work efficiency in the production of Geographic National Census data.
