人工智能的发展改变了人类的认知方式和生活方式,人工智能延伸了人类的体力和脑力,将会让人类更加有尊严、更加优雅、更加智慧地生活。人工智能给人类带来的影响将远远超过计算机、互联网在过去几十年对世界的改变,也为教育带来了前所未有的机遇和挑战。北京联合大学在全国率先成立机器人学院,突破传统教学的边界,采取科学任务带动创新人才培养的模式,致力于培养面向先进机器人、智能汽车及无人系统等领域的高素质、应用型专门人才。

The development of artificial intelligence has changed the cognitive style and life style of human beings, extended our physical and mental power, and brought us a more decent, graceful, andsapiential life. The influence of artificial intelligence is far beyond the changes brought by computer and internet to the world in the past decades, and it also brings unprecedented challenges and opportunities to education. BUU takes the lead to establish Robotics College, breaks through the boundary of traditional teaching, adopts the new mode of ＂science task driving the cultivation of innovative talents＂, and strives for the cultivation of high-quality, applicationoriented professionals dealing with advanced robots, intelligent vehicles, and unmanned system.
