摘要
对液态金属限流试验装置进行了不同电流下的温升试验。为了满足额定大电流的使用要求,提出了一种液态金属限流与高速隔离开关相结合的限流方法,可解决限流器长期通电发热的问题。对该限流方案进行试验测试,结果表明所提方法的限流效率随短路电流上升而提高。
Firstly the temperature rise based on the liquid metal current limiter was tested at different current levels. Its rated current is only hundreds of amperes owing to its high resistivity. In order to fulfill the requirement of a higher rate current,a novel current-limiting method was proposed based on the combination of the liquid metal current-limiting principle and high-speed disconnecting switch,which can solve the heating problem with long-term.Finally,a high-speed disconnecting switch was specially designed and the whole current limiting method was tested.The results demonstrated that this method is feasible and the current-limiting efficiency is higher with the increase of the peak value of short current.
