摘要
《广州音说》是陈澧专门讨论广州话语音特点的一篇论文。从陈澧的生平经历可断定《广州音说》所据之"广州方音"正是当时的标准省城音,文章所讨论的语音特征,大致反映了19世纪初期至中期的广州话概貌。《广州音说》是陈澧在考证韵书切语过程中,以广州音为参照,"以隋唐韵书切语核之",逐渐积累形成对广州音特点的认识而成文的,其成文时间应为《切韵考》之后,大致与《东塾初学编·音学》同期或稍后。通过比较考察《广州音说》所列举"广州方音合于隋唐韵书切语为他方所不及者"的五项语音特征,发现广州话存在浊上变去的发展趋势。在共同语的影响下,广州话原读阳上调的浊上字先出现文读音,形成阳去阳上文白两读共存的过渡阶段,然后阳去调文读音逐渐覆盖阳上调白读音,完成浊上变去的变化。
Guangzhou Yinshuo is the paper devoted to discuss Cantonese pronunciation characteristics. From Chenli＇s life experience we can concluded that the dialect at that time is according to the standard Cantonese.Its phonetic characteristics roughly reflect the general Cantonese feature in the early to mid-19th century. Thewritten time of G uangzhou Yinshuo should be after Qieyun K ao, probably at the same time of Dongshu ChuxueB ian Y inxue or later. Compared with the five phonetic characteristics described in the book, it shows that theCantonese pronunciation characteristics basically remained unchanged since more than one hundred years ago,but that Cantonese tone development trends of Zhuo Shang turning into Qu.
