The performance of visual search is an important factor to affect the learning efficiency in learning online courses. The experiment in the paper studies the influence of task intensity and style of online courses on the performance of visual search,task intensity has a significant effect on it,the style of online courses can affect it to some extent. However,the background picture of web page has no noticeable impact on the performance.
