摘要
研究了半导体光放大器(SOA)中增益和相位恢复过程的波长相关性。分析增益谱与线宽增强因子对增益和相位恢复过程的影响以及载流子温度变化对增益超快恢复过程的影响。在理论分析结果中得出当探测光波长接近增益谱峰值时增益恢复较快,而当探测光波长较长时相位变化较大。
In this paper, gain and phase recovery dynamics with wavelength dependence in a quantum well semiconductor optical amplifier (QW SOA) is theoretically investigated. The influence of gain spectrum and linewidth enhancement factor on the gain and phase recovery processes is analyzed. In addition, the effect of carrier temperature on the ultrafast gain recovery process is also discussed. In the result, it is shown that the gain recovery process is faster when the probe wavelength is near the peak wavelength of gain spectnma and the change of phase is larger when the probe wavelength is set at long wavelength region.
