摘要 经济社会发展和国际竞争对高等教育人才培养提出挑战,高校教师需要强化教学实践及其研究能力。加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学"教学与课程设计能力"项目的实施关注教师教学技能和课程设计能力发展,适于助力高校新教师专业发展;"高校教师教学证书"项目基于"教学的学术"理念,以建立高校教师学习共同体为目标,通过实施四模块课程鼓励教师从零散教学实践反思迈向系统教学研究,为走过新教师阶段的高校教师提供了专业发展的路径;"教师探究"项目中所使用的"自我研究"方法,为所有高校教师尤其是高校教师教育者提供了具体的基于职场的专业发展方式。这些项目的实施,能促进教师跨专业合作探究、教学和科研相结合、使教师实现内生式发展和为教师提供基于职场的发展方式,对高校教师教学实践及其研究能力发展具有一定参考价值。 Nowadays, the development of economic society and increasing of interna- tional competition pose many challenges for higher education institutions all over the world. University teachers need to improve their teaching and develop the capacity to inquire into the teaching practice. The "Instructional Skills Workshop" and "Course Design Intensive" at University of British Columbia aims to improve teaching skills and curriculum design among novice faculty members; The "Faculty Teaching Certificate Program" at University of British Columbia is based on the concept of "Scholarship of Teaching", aiming to build a learning community among university teachers. The program is composed of four modules of curriculum to encourage teachers to conduct systematic teaching inquiry rather than scat- tered teaching reflection, which is tailored more for professional development of experi- enced faculty members. The self-study element in their Teacher Inquiry Program at Univer- sity of British Columbia both focus on improving curriculum design, teaching skills and teaching inquiry of university teachers. These programs facilitate cross-disciplinary collab- orative research, combination of teaching and research, the inner development of university teachers and field-based professional development. It provided references and inspirations for the development of teaching skills and teaching inquiry for university teachers in China.
