On Ecological Education as an Important Task in Geography Education

现代社会高速发展,人类对资源不合理的开采和利用空前增多,生态破坏严重,环境质量恶化,地球上的生物深受其害,对人类健康产生了很大影响。地理学科要将生态教育作为主要任务,致力于学生科学的人口观、资源观、环境观和可持续发展观的培养与养成,为建设美丽中国,实现天蓝、地绿、水清的生活环境而努力。

With the high-rate development of contemporary society,the improper exploitation and utilization of resources is unprecedentedly severe,including ecological disruption and environmental pollution,doing harm to creatures on the earth including the health conditions of human beings.Geography subject should regard ecological education as its main task,making efforts to cultivate students＇ scientific outlook on population,resources,environment and sustainable development,as well as construct a beautiful China with blue sky,green land and clear water.
