电子游戏与教育游戏研究的困局和反思 被引量:12

Predicaments and Reflections on Video Game and Educational Game Research

摘要 教育研究者对电子游戏的关注已多年,且在基础与应用两方面进行了大量研究。但迄今为止,无论对电子游戏影响机制的研究,还是在教育应用电子游戏的尝试,都面临诸多困难。本研究旨在对当前困扰这一研究领域的问题进行分析,反思发展困难的原因,并尝试寻求解决方法;通过对基础研究、学术争议、与媒体和公众的沟通以及课内外应用方面的分类梳理,展现其各自面临的困局。研究建议,摆脱该领域研究面临的困境,需要调整研究方向并改进方法,坚持正确的学术争议立场,以务实的态度与公众沟通;需要面向一线教师和家长,开发高质量内容的教育游戏,同时关注游戏化等新的发展方向。 Video games have been the focus of educational research for many years. Lots of basic research and trial applications have been made in this field. However,difficulties still exist in the research on the influencing mechanisms of video games,as well as the applications of video games in education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the dilemmas of current research on video games and educational games,reflect on the reasons that cause such dilemmas,and try to find ways to get the research out of these dilemmas. By analyzing the dilemmas in basic research,we found that the only way to solve the issue was to improve research method and change future research directions. Researchers of this field need to change their attitudes towards academic controversies and communicate with the public in a pragmaticand neutral manner. In the meanwhile,developing educational video games with high- quality content for teachers and parents is essential to solve current difficulties in applications. Attentions are also needed to pay into the development trends such as gamification.
