In this paper, the function of intelligent socket, the hardware circuit and the design of the monitor software program as well as the background are introduced in detail. The intelligent socket can realize remote on-off control（including PC control, mobile phone users control and infrared remote control）, electricity information display（including computers, mobile phones and liquid crystal display）, statistical report query, fault alarm, system configuration, and other functions. In the laboratory, through to the various parts of the test and alignment, the intelligent socket reaches the expected effects, and it is of high popularization value.
