Yuanping Yangko is a kind of folk dance in Yuanping of Shanxi Province. It is listed as intangible cultural heritage because of its distinctive features. Its flourish is closely related to the unique natural environment,deep cultural connotation and simple local customs. It features in performance form, role play and actions. In order to protect and inherit it, the government support, extensive participation of folk people and class teaching are all needed.
