摘要
信息技术的快速发展使得如何充分利用学习空间与学习资源促进教学成为教育技术应用的当务之急。在美国K-12领域,虚拟时间线(Virtual Timeline)作为一种重要的工具,已成为辅助学习者学习的新媒体。该文在分析虚拟时间线核心特征的基础上,发掘其主要教学功能,介绍和分析了四个典型时间线平台。虚拟时间线以其可视化和项目管理等功能将同地和异地的师生整合到一个交互平台上,在增进师生人际关系、提高学习效率方面起到了促进作用。该文通过分析和介绍美国K-12虚拟时间线平台,以期为我国网络学习空间平台建设提供参考。
How to utilize online learning space and learning resources to improve teaching and learning is an urgent issue. In the U.S.A., Virtual Timeline has become a kind of important new media and platform for learners in K-12. Based on the analysis of core characteristics of Virtual Timeline, the instructional functions were discussed, and four typical Virtual Timeline platforms were analyzed as the cases. Virtual Timelines can integrate the teachers and learners in both same local and different local into one interactional platform because of their visualized and project-management functions, which can improve the relationship of teachers and learners and also the learning efficiency. Analyze and introduce Virtual Timeline can be some references for the development of online learning space in China.
