Objective:To know about cognition state of falls - related risk factors of patients at high risk of falls in the hope of providing reference for targeted nursing and intervention. Methods:Questionnaires were employed to investigate 132 cases of hospitalized patients at high risk of falls. Results:Cognition level of falls - related risk factors of hospitalized patients at high risk of falls was between 42. 42% and 53. 79% . High - risk patients of varied age cohorts and varied educational levels had different levels of cognition of falls - related risk factors, and high - risk patients of different educational level demonstrated different compliance degrees. Conclusion:Cognition level of falls - related risk factors of patients at high risk of falls was undesirable. Patients of lower edu-cational level and young and middle age displayed lower cognition degree, while patients of higher educational level and older age displayed higher cognition degree. Lower educational level resulted in better compliance;higher educational level resulted in worse compliance. Multiform and personalized propagan-distic and educational strategies should be adopted to enhance propaganda and education of falls - prevention knowledge for patients at high risk of falls,im-prove their cognition level of falls - related high risk factors, and promote compliance,so as to prevent falls.
