A Study of Qian Mu's Values of Ritual Culture

国学大师钱穆一生重视宣扬中国优秀传统文化,尤其把礼文化放在核心地位。钱穆对传统礼文化价值的评判素有主见,对传统礼文化秉持扬弃的态度。钱穆的礼文化价值观之形成离不开先祖、父母的教诲及家乡等地传统礼文化的环境影响。

Qian Mu, a master of Sinology, attached great importance to promotion of excellent tradi- tional Chinese culture throughout his life, with particular emphasis on ritual culture. With regard to tradi- tional ritual culture, Qian Mu held assertive evaluations, and the attitude of sublation was adopted. For Qian Mu, the value of ritual culture can not be formed without the edification of ancestors and parents, as well as the influence of traditional ritual culture in the hometown and other places.
