With the review of the development of acP/lic as a kind furniture material, the performance fea-tures of acrylic materials in aspects of physics, chemistry, machinery, technology, etc were discussedthrough classic cases study, which demonstrated that it should be considered a potential modern furniturematerials. From the perspective of combining with wood, the paper discussed the rationality and innova-tion of the combination of two materials in order to point out a new direction for acrylic furniture design.
