椎体压缩骨折（vertebral compression fractures,VCF）通常由骨质疏松症、椎体肿瘤或脊柱外伤等原因造成,其正逐渐成为一种严重危害老年人健康的疾病。临床上骨质疏松症乃是VCF常见的病因。据文献报道,70岁以上的老年人群中VCF的发病率约为20%,而绝经后妇女中的发病率约为16%。
