Several typical cases of reconstruction of aromatics plant were listed; the main modification project of reconstruction was introduced as well as the unit scale before and after the reconstruction, the change of the raw materials and products, the advantages and disadvantages. Several attentive problems in aromatics plant construction and reconstruction were put forward.
