新中国成立以来 ,铁路事故几经反复 ,但总的趋势是好的。在重大、大事故中 ,由于铁路职工自身责任占 64 6%,其中又以工务、机务部门最多 ,两者合占 5 9 6%。事故的主要原因是违章、违纪 ,所有职工必须牢记这一教训。研制和采用自动或半自动安全保障技术 ,以补人的不足 。

Since the foundation of new China, though there have been relapses for the railway accidents, the overall tendency is good. 64 6% of the severe accidents and the big accidents are the responsibility of railway staff, where the civil engineering department and locomotive department amount up 59.6%. The main causes of accidents are due to violate the rules and regulations by railway staff. The personnel must remember this lesson. It is also very important to develop automatic or semi automatic safety assurance technology to compensate the weakness of human being.
