＂Some people think poverty-alleviation work is a hard job, but I take delight in doing the work,＂ says Ou Fengping, Deputy Director of Xingbin （a district in Laibin, a city in South ChinEs Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region） Poverty Alleviation Office. ＂I＇m happy that I can do something to help improve rural residents＇ lives. I＇m pleased to learn an increasing number of residents （in the district） have escaped poverty and have begun to live happy lives.＂ Ou has dedicated her life to helping rural residents alleviate poverty, especially since she was appointed First Member of the Secretariat of the general Party （Communist Party of China） branch of the No. 6 Village in Xingbin District in March 2012.
