清代边疆重臣和瑛一生笔耕不辍,著述颇丰。他以经世致用为宗旨,创作了具有鲜明时代特征与较高学术价值的西域著述:《回疆通志》《三州辑略》《易简斋诗钞》。和瑛西域著述作为乾嘉年间西北舆地学转变期的典型代表,为乾嘉时期之后西北史地的兴盛作出了诸多表率,更为清代西北舆地学的繁荣奠定了一定基础,在清代西北史地学史上具有重要的地位和影响。文章拟对和瑛西域著述的价值与意义进行探讨,以求教于方家。

He Ying, an importance officer of the Qing Dynasty, devoted himself to writing and authored abundant books. Of these, the most valuable is his writings on the Western Region. ＂Hui Jiang Tong Zhi＂, ＂San Zhou Ji Lue＂ and ＂Yi Jian Zhai Shi Chao＂ are of high academic values and distinctive characteristics. These writings are representative of the Qing Dynasty at that time in northwest geological study, which have contributed to the flourishing development of the northwest geological study after that time and laid foundations for the blooming of northwest geological study in the Qing Dynasty. This paper explored the values and significance of He Ying＇s writings on the Western Region.
