论唐传奇对汉魏六朝志怪小说的改写

Rewriting the Ghost Stories in the Six Dynasties in the Legends of the Tang Dynasty

唐传奇的成熟、繁荣,很大程度上因其对汉魏六朝志怪小说进行了改写。唐传奇突破传统故事的约束,对其进行增衍、改编,形成情节更为跌宕起伏,内容更为细致婉曲、意蕴更为深广的故事。汉魏六朝志怪小说的编撰者,秉持还原真实的叙事理念,力求客观呈现事件,而唐传奇小说家将叙事思维的主观性发挥得淋漓尽致,运用悬念设置、插叙、铺叙等艺术手法,有意虚构、敷衍故事,写人、叙事技巧有极大提升。唐传奇的表现手法、叙事艺术、文学价值等,较汉魏六朝志怪小说都有长足进步。唐传奇对志怪小说的改写是一种实质性的再创造,表现在故事情节、内容、文体特征等诸多方面,体现了唐人"有意为小说",是促使小说文体独立、成熟的重要原因。

The maturity and prosperity of the legends in the Tang Dynasty was largely based on rewriting the ghost stories in the Six Dynasties. The legends shook off the constraints of traditional stories： augmenting and rewriting the ghost stories to make the plot more ups and downs, the content more delicate and the meaning more profound. The legends, using suspense, flashback, narration and other artistic techniques, deliberately invented perfunctory stories,so that the character writing and narrative skills were greatly improved. The techniques of expression, narrative art,and literary values, compared with that used in ghost stories, made great progress. The legend was a substantial recreation expressed in the theme, plot, content, and style, reflecting the ＂intent for the novel＂, an important reason to promote the novel style to be independent and mature.
