晋南地区产业集聚与县域经济发展关系的实证分析——基于面板格兰杰因果检验

An Empirical Research on Industry Agglomeration and Regional Economic Development in South Shanxi:Based on the Analysis of Granger Causality Test of Panel Data

在我国,县域经济是国家经济发展的基础行政单元,是具有地方特色、经济部门较为齐全的区域经济。而产业集聚因其内在的作用机制,既表现为一种经济发展形式,也可能作为发展的结果,其实质是推动区域经济的快速发展。因此,产业集聚已经成为县域经济发展的一种战略选择。基于面板Granger因果检验,利用2002-2013年的数据对山西省晋南地区产业集聚与经济增长之间的动态关系进行实证分析。结果表明:晋南地区的产业集聚是经济增长的Granger原因——在短期内,产业集聚对经济增长有显著的正向作用。通过研究指出,产业集聚是促进县域经济发展的有效载体,因而晋南地区可以利用产业园区来促进产业集聚,以园区经济带动县域经济。

County economy,a regional economy with local characteristics and complete economic sectors in China,has become the basic administrative unit of economic development. As a form as well as a result of economic development,industry agglomeration has stimulated the rapid development of regional economy due to its inner functional mechanism. Therefore,industry clustering has become a strategic choice of county economic development. Based on Granger causality of panel data from 2002 to 2013,this paper conducts an empirical analysis of dynamic relationship between industry agglomeration and economic development in south Shanxi. It reveals that industry agglomeration is definitely the Granger cause of economic growth. Specifically,industry agglomeration has significant and positive impacts on economic growth in the short term. As a result,this paper points out that industry cluster,which can be boosted by developing industrial parks,is an efficient method to promote the development of county economy.
