旋角羚的饲养繁殖管理

The Feeding and Breeding Management of Addax

杭州动物园从2012年9月引进2公2母4只旋角羚进行饲养展出,至今成功繁殖2胎,2胎旋角羚孕期都在9个月左右。重点对幼兽进行了体重、体长、体温、角长等测量记录,从出生到56日龄内,发现幼兽日均增重0.17 kg,体长平均日增长0.32 cm。随日龄增长,体温总体呈缓慢下降趋势,在38.6~39.8℃之间波动。幼兽头顶小角每天以0.16 cm左右的速度生长。本文就旋角羚在人工圈养条件下的饲养管理、繁殖及疾病防治等方面进行总结。

Two male- female pairs of addaxes were introduced to exhibit in Hangzhou Zoo in September 2012.During this period,the two pairs successfully gave birth to two young after nine months of pregnancy.For the young addaxes we documented the change in body weight,body length,body temperature,and horn length while growing.We found that the increase of bodyweight was 0.17 kg/day on average,and that of body length was 0.32 cm/day from birth to 49 days.The body temperature decreased gradually and varied from 38.6℃ to 39.8℃ as the young grew.The horns of the young grew at a rate of 1.67 mm per day.We also summarize the feeding and breeding management,and disease prevention and treatment of the addax.
