Political and Economic Analysis of Vietnam Entry into TPP and Its Impact on China

越南加入TPP会对其产业和企业造成重要影响,给出口优势产业带来巨大机遇,但给技术落后、创新能力差的传统产业带来较大的冲击;TPP对越南企业的影响因企业的性质不同需要区别对待,对国企而言可能面临较大改革压力,对私企而言将面临兼并重组之压。分析TPP对越南产业和企业的影响,可以更加深刻地认识TPP对越南经济的影响。

Vietnam has entered into the Trans - Pacific Partnership （ TPP）, which is not only a result of the five - year negoti- ation process, but also a result of the country＇s 30 - year reform and opening up. And it is also an inherent requirement of Viet- nam foreign policy ＂positive integration into the international world＂, as well as an important consideration about the develop- ment of relation with the United States. However, joining the TPP will make Vietnam face a lot of challenges in state institutions, industrial dew^lopment, enterprise survival, and intellectual property. Therefore, Vietnam government needs to take various countermeasures to cope with those problems. At the same time, Vietnam joining the TPP will release some impact on China＇s e- conomy in the short and the long term. Especially, it will bring new obstacles for China＇s construction of ＂the Belt and Road Ini- tiative＂ and the ＂China - ASEAN community of destiny＂, so Chinese government should pay more attention on the influence of Vietnam as a member of TPP.
