质性研究的方法论再反思

Re-reflection on the Methodology of Qualitative Research

首先从中国历史的独特性、中国现代社会的巨变性和中国底层社会的复杂性分析了质性研究方法的根植性所在,然后揭示了质性研究方法可能面临的种种陷阱和限制,最后讨论了质性研究方法贡献概念的三种方式的利弊。通过对质性研究的方法论再反思,意图推进研究问题与研究方法的紧密结合,克服对"唯方法论主义"的迷恋。

This paper analyzes the embeddedness of qualitative research method from the uniqueness of Chinese history, the great changes of modern society and the complexity of the grass-root society in China. Then it reveals kinds of traps and restrictions that the qualitative research method may be faced, and finally discusses the advantages and disadvantages of three ways in which qualitative research method makes conceptual contribution. Through the re-reflection on the methodology of qualitative research, the author tends to promote the combination of research question and research method, so as to overcome the fetishism of methodology.
