In recent years, our country＇s grain output has been increased year by year, but the food logistics system construction is lagging behind, which brings about high costs and losses of food storage and transportation. Reasonable layout of the grain storage and distribution center can effectively save transportation cost, and promote the production and consumption of coordination and cooperation to ensure the balanced development of grain logistics system. This paper studies the necessity and feasibility of constructing large grain storage and distribution center, and puts forward a series of specific measures. These measures can quicken the development of grain logistics distribution system in Shanxi Province, and drive the development of the local catering services, business, entertainment, transportation, and post and telecommunications and so on. It has strong social and economic benefits.
