激活新场古镇的建筑与空间

Revitalization of Architecture and Space in Xinchang Ancient Town

江南水乡古镇在发展的过程中,将传统物化形态与民俗文化精神延续至当代。古镇新场一直具有自我更新的能力,但面对时代大潮,其自主更新的能力日渐式微。古镇如何应对时代的变迁是亟待船决的问题。文章通过对古镇传统街巷、水系、宅院等空间的理解,从微空间层面的功能变革与尝试探索古镇的创新更新思路,激发古镇活力,活化传统文化与生活的价值,引导出大体系保护发展的策略与实践。

During the development of Jiangnan ancient water towns,the physical form of the tradition and the spirit of folk culture are brought to the present.Xinchang Ancient Town has always possessed the ability of self-renewal.But facing the trend of the times,this ability of self-renewal is declining gradually.How should the ancient town deal with the changing times,protect and transmit the traditional culture and life style,revitalize itself,and therefore adapt to the requirements of the times？ Through the interpretation of traditional streets and lanes,water system,houses and courtyards,as well as other spaces,from the function transformation on micro-space level,this article explores the idea of innovation and renewal of the ancient town,to stimulate its vitality,to revitalize the value of traditional culture and life style,and attempts to point out the strategy of the complete system of preservation and development.
