Urban Micro-regeneration in Way of Architecture A Study of Exterior Space at the Gallery SPSI

在当下中国城市空间开发逐渐以"存量优化"为主的背景下,建筑师的舞台逐渐从大块的、外部限制较少的场地转移到具有丰富场地条件的城市狭小空间。文章试图通过对上海油画雕塑院美术馆改扩建项目的外部空间研读,展现以建筑的方式在有限空间内回应城市尺度问题的可能性。

The strategy of ＂Inventory Optimization＂ is dominating the approaches of urban development in China. As a result, architects start to mainly work on narrow sites with rich context instead of huge sites with the absence of context. By introducing a study of exterior space at Gallery SPSI, a project designed by Yan Wang, this paper attempts to argue that it is possible to address urban issues in an architectural way.
