Red rot disease is one of the fungal diseases of chewing cane. This paper elaborated the harm symptom,pathogen and occurrence regularity of red rot disease,and summarized the controlling methods from the aspects of selection of diseasefree cane,treatment of seed cane,field management,soil improvement and chemical control,and so on.
