Challenges of the Copyright and Solutions to the Library in the MOOCs Environment

MOOCs的兴起为图书馆的创新发展提供了良好的机遇。然而,由于MOOCs系统中信息资源的使用呈现出大规模、开放性与共享性的特征,图书馆在涉足MOOCs领域的进程中遭受到了著作权法律问题的挑战。为促进图书馆与MOOCs的融合,一方面图书馆应努力构建信息资源库,加强著作权管理;另一方面则应培育适合图书馆与MOOCs融合发展的国内法律土壤,完善著作权合理使用制度。

The rise of MOOCs provides a good opportunity for the innovative development of the library. However, due to the use of information resources in MOOCs system presenting the characteristics of large-scale, openness and sharing, the library has been faced with the challenge from copyright law in the process of stepping into MOOCs. To promote the integration of the library and MOOCs, on the one hand, the library should make efforts to construct information resources database and strengthen the management of copyright; on the other hand, the library should cultivate suitable soil of domestic law for fusion and development of the library and MOOCs, thus to improve the system of fair use of copyright. 4 refs.
