Progress in Association of COX-2 and Ki-67 with Gastric Cancer

环氧合酶-2(Cyclooxygenase-2,COX-2)是环氧合酶同工酶中的一种诱导性酶,其在胃癌的发生、发展及预后中发挥重要作用,且选择性COX-2抑制剂(Cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors,COXIBs)能有效地抑制胃癌发生发展,有望成为胃癌预防及治疗的有效药。Ki-67是人类增殖细胞核抗原,在胃癌中呈高表达,可反映肿瘤的增殖情况,但其与胃癌的病理特征及预后的关系目前尚存在争议。

Cyclooxygenase-2（ COX-2）,an inducible enzyme,plays an important role in the occurrence,development,and prognosis of gastric cancer. Selective COX-2 inhibitors（ COXIBs） can effectively inhibit the development of gastric cancer,and it is expected to become effective drug that can prevent and treat gastric cancer. Ki-67,a human proliferating cell nuclear antigen,is highly expressed in gastric cancer and may reflect tumor proliferation. However,it remains controversial whether it is associated with pathological features and prognosis of gastric cancer or not.
