A Review of Educational Reform in Obama's Second Term

奥巴马于2013年1月连任美国总统以来,制定并实施了一系列教育改革措施,致力于全面提升教育质量、引领教师专业发展、规范完善教育立法、发展教育信息技术、加大教育经费投入、对特殊群体提供更多的保障等方面。"重构美国高中计划"、"RESPECT蓝图"、《每个学生都成功法案》和《2016国家教育技术规划》,推动美国教育改革走上了更高的台阶,也为中国教育和社会发展提供了有益参考。

Barack Obama took his second term of American president since January 2013. A series of educational policies have been made and implemented in his second term. These policies emphasis on improving the quality of education, concerning teachers＇ professional development, standardizing the education legislation, developing information technology in education, increasing investment in education funding and provide more protection to disabled children. The High School Redesign Initiative, Blueprint for Recognizing Educational Success, Professional Excellence, and Collaborative Teaching, Every Student Succeeds Act and National Education Technology Plan 2016, etc. All of these measures certainly promoted American educational reform to a higher level, it also provides helpful references for education and social development of China.
