On the CPC's Role in Outstanding Culture Guidance and Construction: A Perspective of the Left-Wing Cultural Movement

中国共产党是先进文化的积极引领者和创造者。20世纪二三十年代以上海为中心的左翼文化运动,就是中国共产党引领先进文化发展的一次重大实践。党通过建立完整的组织体系、开拓宣传舆论阵地、创建群众文化团体等方法,引领和推动左翼文化运动蓬勃发展。左翼文化运动也自觉、有力地配合党所领导的武装斗争、政治斗争和文化斗争,极大地推动了马克思主义中国化进程,为中国文化现代化作出了重要贡献。总结党领导的长达10年的左翼文化运动经验,对当前建设中国特色社会主义先进文化具有重要意义。

The CPC is the guide and creator of advanced cultures. The left-wing cultural movement centered in Shanghai in the 1920s-1930 s was a major practice of advanced culture development led by the CPC. The CPC succeeded in leading and promoting the prosperity of the left-wing cultural movement by constructing an integrated organization, exploring publicity front, and establishing mass cultural groups, etc. The left-wing cultural movements was voluntarily and convincingly cooperative in armed battle, political and cultural conflicts led by the CPC, effectively driving the localization of Marxism and contributing greatly to the modernization of Chinese cultures. It is of great significance to sum up the experience of the ten-year left-wing cultural movements led by the CPC for the current construction of advanced socialist cultures with Chinese characteristics.
