Development and Reform of Catastrophic Illness Insurance in Singapore

本文从设计理念、筹资补偿、运行管理等方面对新加坡大病保险制度的发展与变革过程进行了系统考察,认为该制度具有共济互助、激励相容、公私合作等特点,能够为我国城乡居民大病保险政策的完善和落实提供经验借鉴。

This article comprehensively studied the development and reform of Catastrophic Illness Insurance in Singapore from the aspects of design idea, fi nancing compensation, and operating management. It was concluded that the model of Singapore have features of multi-aiding, encouraging compatibility and public-private partnership, which would provide experience for the improvement and implementation of Catastrophic Illness Insurance of China.
