高校的临界矛盾是指在高校某方面的巨变期里所产生的,能引起影响或决定事物发展的全局面貌与走向的矛盾。忽视对高校临界矛盾的化解常常会引发校园突发事件,导致"一着不慎,满盘皆输"的后果。近年来,高校临界矛盾时常发生,给学校、教师和学生的学习生活带来深远影响。因此,研究高校临界矛盾的内涵与特点,分析临界矛盾化解过程中存在的问题,探索思想政治教育发挥临界矛盾化解功能的途径是十分重要的新课题。从总体上来看,高校临界矛盾的化解主要包括三个方面:完善保障机制,不给临界矛盾发生提供温床;完善预警机制,确保及时发现临界矛盾征兆;完善调节机制,防止临界矛盾进一步恶化。

Critical contradiction of colleges and universities refers to the contradiction, occurring during the period of great changes in a university,that can affect or determine the outlook and the trend of the development. In recent years, critical contradiction of colleges and universities frequently happened, which has brought a profound impact on the school, and on the learning life of teachers and students. Therefore, the research on the solution of the critical contradiction in the university becomes a very important new issue. The paper is to study and solve the problem of how to resolve the critical contradiction through the method of ideological and political education and prevent the adverse consequences caused by it. The paper mainly states the connotation and characteristics of the critical contradictions,analyzes problems in process of solving the critical contradiction and discusses the roles of ideological and political education playing in critical contradiction, and the paper is expected to provide some methods for universities to resolve critical contradiction.
