This paper analyzes two main mechanisms of separation explosion-proof tech- nology which called ＇ cold wall action＇ and ＇ wall effect＇ , introduces development situation and research findings of domestic and abroad technology, gives the related technical specifications as well as items, methods and acceptability criterions of laboratory test and onsite safety inspec- tion, and forecasts development trend of the technology in future.
