李云麟与左宗棠关系考

A study on the relationship between Li Yunlin and Zuo Zongtang

李云麟为晚清时期一位名士,才识兼具,为左宗棠等诸名流所赏识。左宗棠督师西北后,将其调赴军营协助西征事宜,李云麟在收复新疆和办理中俄交涉方面作出了重要贡献。但李、左个性都较为刚烈,彼此难以含容,加之在收复新疆的战略方针和新疆建省问题上政见分歧甚大,故二人关系迅速恶化。对李、左二人关系由正常到交恶的过程进行了详细考述,并从性格因素和政见相左两个方面分析了其交恶原因,进而揭示满、汉官员在新疆问题上的权力博弈。

Li Yunlin is a famous person in the late Qing dynasty, who had abilities and insight, and was appreciated by various celebrities of that time,such as Zuo Zongtang. After Zuo Zongtang was in his supervision of the northwest, he transferred Li to the barracks to assist expedition matters, and Li made important contributions to the recovery of Xinjiang and the handling of Sino-Russian negotiations. However,Li and Zuo both had strong personalities,and couldn＇t get along with each other. What＇s more,they had very large political differences in the strategic policies of the recovery of Xinjiang and the establishment of Xinjiang province. So the relationship between them deteriorated very rapidly. In this paper, the process of the transforming relationship from normality to badness between the two was discussed in details,the reasons of personalities and different political opinions were explored,and then the power games of officials from Manchus and Hans in the issues of Xinjiang were exposed.
