日本吞并琉球时期琉球人的救国运动

The National Salvation Movements by the Ryukyu People during the Period of Annexation by Japan

琉球本是独立的王国,1372年起向明朝进贡,在明清两代长期与中国保持朝贡册封关系。1609年,日本萨摩藩入侵琉球。1879年,日本明治政府悍然吞并琉球,改设冲绳县。此举遭到琉球君臣的反对和中国政府的抗议。本文依据琉球原始史料,着重考察日本吞并琉球时期琉球人的对华请愿和救国运动。

Ryukyu used to be an independent kingdom,which has begun to pay tribute to the Ming Dynasty since 1372 and maintained the tributary relationship with China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties for a long time. However,Ryukyu was invaded by the Satsuma-han of Japan in 1609,and was outrageously annexed and changed to be the Okinawa Prefecture by the Meiji-government of Japan in1879,which was strongly opposed by the Ryukyu people and protested by China government. Based on the original historical records of Ryukyu such as petitions to the China government and so on,this paper tries to study the petitions to China and the national salvation movements by the Ryukyu people during the period of annexation by Japan.
