语言模因在大学英语翻译教学中的合理运用

模因理论(Memetics)认为模因和语言有着极其密切的关系:语言本身就是模因,模因主要寓于语言之中。语言模因及其模因变体不仅揭示了话语流传和语言传播的规律,而且为外语教学提供了一种新的研究思路。通过对模因理论的研究,笔者利用语言模因的特点和变异形式,提出对其在大学英语翻译教学中进行合理运用的方式方法,以此提高非英语专业学生的翻译能力。

According to Memetics there is a close relationship between language and meme： language itself is meme and meme is mainly contained in the language. Language meme and its variant not only reveal the rules of language transmission, but also provide a new research method for foreign language teaching. Through Memetics research, the author takes advantage of the characteristics of language meme and its variant forms to put forward proper ways of its application to improve non-English majored students＇ translation ability.
