芬芳的气息很早就已虏获了人类的心，在汉代宫廷中，尚书郎就必须“怀香袖兰”方能随侍天子，自此之后，香的运用逐渐成为中国人日常生活中不可或缺的重要内容，尤其是在文人的闲适生活中，一缕幽幽上扬的轻姻不仅带来了恬静的生活意境，也展示看他们的品格与处世态度。
Fragrant flavors have captured the heart of mankind for many centuries. In the palace of Han Dynasty, an assistant to the emperor was called "shangshulang". He had to carry a fragrant bag with him when he attended upon the emperor. From that time on, use of incense gradually became an integral part in everyday life of the Chinese people, especially for the leisure life of the scholars. Wisps of smoke-rising not only brought the quiet mood of life, but also to show their character and attitudes of life.
