The Relationship Based on Family Ethics in “The Stone Diaries”

《斯通家史札记》是加拿大当代著名女作家卡罗尔·希尔兹的代表作,蕴含丰富的家庭伦理内涵,作品自问世以来,国内外评论家对其进行了多种解读,但至今还没有学者从伦理学的角度来探讨这部作品。文章运用文学伦理学批评对作品中的家庭伦理关系进行解读,分析其中所刻画的互爱互敬的夫妻伦理、双向义务的的亲子伦理、团结友爱的手足伦理以及融洽和谐的主仆伦理等四种伦理关系。

Carol Shields is a famous contemporary Canadian writer. Her masterpiece is ＂The stone Diaries＂. There is profound family ethics in this novel. There have been various interpretations but there is still no scholar discussing this from art ethical perspective. From the perspective of ethical criticism, family ethics, such as wife and husband （ mutual love） , parent and child （bi-directional love） , brother and sister （fraternal） , and master and servant （harmonious） are explored.
