The Passive Influence of Religion on the Civilization of the Ancient Egyptian From the Perspective of the Struggle Between Kingship and Thearchy

在古代埃及的历史发展中,宗教占有重要的地位,也可以说,宗教是国家管理的基石。在当时的社会生活中,到处都有宗教的影响:从生到死直至来世,从法老到庶民人人都依赖一系列的男女神灵来保佑世界的安定和谐,保佑粮食丰产,保佑战争胜利,保佑所爱的人健康不受伤害,与其相伴永生。尤其在政治生活里,宗教的作用更加显著。但由于时代所限,古埃及的宗教体系并不完备,因而给埃及文明带来了一些负面影响。

In the process of historical development of ancient Egypt, religion plays a very important role,which can be seen as the footstone of national administration. Religion affects every aspect of people＇ s life：from birth to death,everyone,Pharaoh or common people, depended on the blessing from gods and goddesses ： peace, fertility, victory, and health. In political life,religion was even more important. However,the religion system in ancient Egypt is not complete. This brings negative influence on Egyptian civilization.
