The latest developments in display technology presented in 2016 SID Display Week were comprehensively reviewed. The study mainly focus on the LCD with large size, high resolution and excellent performance, OLED with wide prospects, typical technology and products in the next generation display field. In the end, the newly-developed display materials were showed. All mentioned could lead to the great potentiality in the future display industry.
