更正医学微生物学教材中巴斯德制备狂犬病疫苗的一处描述错误

在目前供临床医学专业使用的人民卫生出版社出版的《医学微生物学》教材中,关于巴斯德研制狂犬病疫苗的过程有一处描述错误,即兔脑中的固定毒株对人或犬的致病性"明显减弱",本文根据文献特此更正为"明显增强",并利用现今的免疫学原理解释了当时疫苗发挥作用的机制。同时也对巴斯德的学术贡献略加叙述,让医学生对疫苗背后的人文知识有所了解。

In the textbook of Medical Microbiology published by People＇s Medical Publishing House,there is a mistake regarding the rabies vaccine developed by Louis Pasteur.It was written in the textbook that ＂ The pathogenicity of the fixed rabies virus in the rabbit brain was much weaker for humans and dogs than that of the street strain.＂ According to the papers Pasteur published and other references,the mistake was corrected as follows：The pathogenicity of the fixed rabies virus in the rabbit brain was much stronger for dogs than that of the street strain.The mechanisms of rabies vaccine are elucidated based on modern immunology.The academic contributions of Pasteur are briefly introduced to make the students further understand what′s behind the vaccine.
