我国民办大学校长在任现状及选聘的思考

Reflections on the Incumbency and Selection Mechanism for Private University Presidents in China

校长是一所大学发展的引领者和关键人物,民办大学校长的产生可以分为内部聘任和外部聘任两种形式。本研究调查了93所民办大学现任校长的背景现状,分析了两类聘任形式的校长各自优势和不足,阐述了民办大学校长的素质特征,并对我国民办大学校长的选拔聘用提出了建议。

The president plays an important and leading role in the development of a university. A private university＇s president can be employed either from the university＇s current faculty or from outside school. Based on the collected data relating to the background information of the present presidents in 93 private universities, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the two ways of employment, and illustrates the qualities of private university presidents, and also provides suggestions to the selection and employment of private university presidents.
