摘要
"高铁外交"与中国"一带一路"战略正把中国高铁推向国际市场。高校土木工程专业开设工程专业英语显得尤为重要。本文针对目前高校,尤其是地方本科院校土木专业就该专业英语的教学现状进行了探究,认为目前很多高校土木专业对该专业英语的开设形同虚设,存在课程设置不科学、学生不重视等问题;然后对如何有效开设土木工程专业英语进行了探讨:提升学生对土木专业英语重要性的认识、通过低年级专业课中涉入专业英语词汇等奠定专业英语词汇基础以及组织科学实用的教学内容。
Chinese ＂High - speed rail＂ diplomacy and ＂One Belt and One Road＂ strategy are obtaining chance to build high - speed rail in many countries,which makes the study of ESPof civilengineering is very important. This article investigates the present status of this course in some universities, especially in the local undergraduate colleges and universities. It reflects that the result of this course isn＇ t perfect because the curriculum setting isn＇ t scientific and the students take no count of it. Then this article gives some suggestion on how to perfect this course ： to promote the students ＇ view on the importance of this course,to introduce some professional English words in the professional course in junior grade, to prepare the scientific practical teaching content.
