中美公共图书馆服务规范比较研究

The Comparative Analysis on Chinese and American Public Library Service Standards

公共图书馆服务规范是图书馆实践发展的产物,指导和调节公共图书馆的服务活动。中国和美国公共图书馆服务规范在实践发展历程和理论研究现状上有一定的区别,在理念、内容等方面也有着各自的侧重点。文章通过比较研究,得到对我国的公共文化服务规范建设的启示:重视国家层面的服务规范建设;充分发挥行业协会的协调作用;结合地方实际,健全区域层面服务规范;加强国际合作交流,学习先进经验。

The public library service standards which play a guiding and regulating role in library service activities are the product of library practice. There are some differences in the development and theoretical research on public library service standards between China and the U. S, and they tend to differ in concepts and contents in their focus. Through a comparative study,we draw some experiences from those of the U. S,including paying attention to the construction of public library service standards at national level,giving full play to the coordination among associations,perfecting the regional service standards, strengthening international cooperation and communication, and learning advanced experiences.
