摘要
社会工作场域中存在明显的性别隔离,主要体现在职业和岗位两个层次上。照顾服务的女性化和社会工作作为照顾服务提供者的形象是导致职业性别隔离的重要原因,而男性权力在社会工作场域中的再生产则是导致岗位性别隔离的重要原因。社会工作场域中的性别隔离之所以值得关注,不仅因为它是一种隐蔽的性别不平等,而且因为这种不平等会妨碍社会工作推动性别平等的使命。为了消除性别隔离,笔者建议提升社会工作场域的性别意识;推动职业期望的去性别化,促进每个从业者的自我实现;重塑社会工作形象,吸引更多男性加入。
Sex segregation at both the job and occupation levels can be easily found in the field of social work. The feminization of care services and the social recognition of social work as a care service provider contribute to the sex segregation at the occupation level, while the reproduction of male hegemony in the field of social work contributes to the sex segregation at the job level. The sex segregation in the field of social work calls for critical attention, not only because it manifests a hidden gender inequality, but also because it hampers the mission of the social work to promote gender equality. In order to reduce the sex segregation, we suggest raising gender consciousness in the field of social work, degenderizing the occupational expectations and promoting the self- actualization of each person in the field, and reshaping the public image of social work and recruiting more men in the field.
