Cooperative learning, with a clear objective, emphasizes the engagement of students which can raise the enthusiasm of students and encourage them to participate in class activities. This article discusses cooperative learning applied in English vocabulary teaching can provide a platform of communication between students, cultivate students＇ learning methods and memorizing strategies. The results show that the learning is of great significance to the improvement of vocabulary efficiency.
