摘要
根据Halliday的系统功能语言学理论,名物化是实现语法隐喻最有力的方式。在一致式(congruent)中由名词而非动词或形容词体现"过程"或"特征"即为名物化隐喻。在阐释名物化隐喻概念、类型和分布模式的基础上,结合科技语篇的语体特征,分析在科技语篇中名物化隐喻的使用方式和主要作用。
According to Halliday＇s Systemic Functional Grammar,nominalization is the most powerful means by which grammatical metaphor is created. Nominalization refers to the phenomenon that the ＂ process＂ or ＂ property＂ which should have been realized by verbs or adjectives in congruent forms is nominalized. This paper,based on the definition,categories and distribution patterns of nominalization,attempts to identify the grammatical metafunction of nominalization in technical discourse in order to examine influence of nominalization in this type of discourse.
